I was commissioned to write a book about WWI, ‘The Lengthening War’, published on the Somme’s 100th anniversary (https://www.waterstones.com/book/the-lengthening-war/michael-goode/9781…). To promote this I did several BBC radio interviews discussing the war, writing history, and the importance of remembrance. One radio interview included dramatised readings of extracts from the book.
