I was invited to speak at the York Festival of Ideas about my recently published book The Lengthening War. This book was published on the Somme’s 100th anniversary (https://www.waterstones.com/book/the-lengthening-war/michael-goode/9781…). I was commissioned to write the book and promoted it with events across the country, radio and press interviews, and good local newspaper coverage.
